These are just some of the attributes students gain by participating in the
Magical Healing Program.
How It Works
Classes are limited in size for maximum attention.
Each student is taught by experienced magicians (a.k.a. Magic Directors), most of whom are registered members of the Society of American Magicians and/or the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Classes run in weekly sessions (90-120 minutes each) over the course of six weeks.
Each student is supplied with magic props that are theirs to use for the entire program.
Students receive video tutorials after each training class so they can continue practicing on their own.
Training focuses on everything from effect technique to performance and stage presence.
A dress rehearsal is held with the students and their Magical Director(s) on the 5th week.
SHOWTIME!
A final community service performance is given at a local senior center, shelter, or place in need of Magical Healing. Students perform a full hour of stage magic and illusion.
Why Magical Healing?
Our program creates a forum in which students develop high levels of confidence, self-esteem, speaking and performance skills. Small classes and one-on-one training give students a chance to really master their illusions.
By getting connected to the intrinsic value of community service, they discover their own ability to have a direct and positive impact on the world. Most importantly, they experience that their life has both meaning and purpose, and that they have the potential to make a real difference for others.

The Magical Healing experience is intentionally designed to encourage collaboration and camaraderie, rather than competition. Students support one another’s greatness, and as a result, they experience a sense of belonging, building bonds, and developing social and communication skills that positively impact their future.
